Subprocessors
Last updated: 2026-09-14
This is the current list of subprocessors skink uses to provide the service, derived from what production actually runs on — not a boilerplate vendor list. For each one we state plainly whether it ever receives the email addresses you submit for verification.
Current subprocessors
- Linode — application hosting (gateway, verification engine, scoring service), United States. Receives recipient addresses: yes — in-memory during verification; encrypted or hashed at rest per your retention setting.
- Hetzner — additional SMTP probing capacity, Germany. Receives recipient addresses: yes — in-memory during probing only; not a storage destination.
- S3-compatible object storage — bulk CSV upload/result files, location depends on deployment. Receives recipient addresses: yes — the file you upload contains the addresses you're verifying.
- Cloudflare R2 — encrypted database backups, global network. Receives recipient addresses: yes, indirectly — backups mirror whatever the primary database holds under your retention setting.
- Brevo — transactional email (magic links, account notices), European Union. Receives recipient addresses: no — only your own account email, never your uploaded list.
- SendPulse — transactional email overflow capacity, European Union. Receives recipient addresses: no — only your own account email.
- Resend — transactional email, United States. Receives recipient addresses: no — only your own account email.
- Dodo Payments — billing and payment processing, global. Receives recipient addresses: no — billing and payment details only.
What we deliberately don't list here
Anything configured but not actually wired into a live code path isn't a subprocessor yet — we don't publish a vendor for a feature that isn't running. If that changes, this page and its change log below change with it.
Change notification
We'll update this page and note the date whenever a subprocessor is added, replaced, or removed. To be notified directly, contact privacy@skink.dev and ask to be added to the subprocessor-change list.
